NINTI

2024

As fragile as a calf trying to stand on its legs, NinTi paradoxically seems to approach the advanced stage of its skeleton’s decomposition. Visitors encounter a curious structure—a wooden carcass whose contours evoke both skeletal remains and human craftsmanship.

The ceramic sculptures forming the ridge of the framework are fragments of a single growing organism. Shaped from white stoneware, this spine hybridizes human, vegetal, and animal bone-like forms. By naming it NinTi, after the Sumerian goddess of birth, the artist lends these vertebrae the hope of new lives emerging from present and future chaos.
